EASY ENGLISH VIDEO

This is the video we watched in class last week about York. Watch it again at home to complete your homework.
What do you think about York? Would you like to visit it? Why or why not? 
If you were there, what places would you choose to visit? What is your opinion about York typical dishes?

    I think that York is a historic, touristic, nice city where you can see many important stoney buildings as well as buy interesting things. Of course I would like to visit it as there is a bit of everything and my impression is that York might be a funny place.


    If I were there, I would like to visit the cathedral, which is called the Minster, the Museum Gardens, the Viking Centre and moreover the Shambles Street because I enjoy going shopping.


    I reckon York typical dishes contain too much pork for instance the pork pies or the Yorkshire pudding, and if you are vegetarian it isn't your cup of tea!!!!!

    • I think York is a great place and they have a lot of history. Yes because they have monuments and museums like the Cathedral or Gardens.

    If I were there, I would like to visit the museums Garden, the Rowntrees Park and the street Sambles because they are interesting place. I don ´t like the York typical dishes because they have a lot of pork.

    I think that York seems to be a very beutiful place and also a nice place to visit or even live.

    When I first saw the video in class, I really liked the old streets and the fort surronding the city, so that means that I would love to visit York, because truly enjoy spending the day in those types of cities and villages.

    As I said, I would visit the city's fort and also those old streets, like the Shambles.
    Talking about food, I haven't taste any of those dishes, so I don't really know if I would like them, but the looke delicious!

    I think that York is a town very ancient and charming. Their buildings are quite strange because top sides of houses are wider than down side. I would like to visit it because it has a lot of interesting places to take photos and taste different kinds of food typical of this town.

    If I were I would like to visit the Wall, the Sambles (just because people say that they are famous) and Clifford's Tower too. Surroundings would be also quite lovely to visit them.
    At first sight, York dishes are a little bit disgusting but I don't really know it if before I don't taste them.

      In my opinion York is a historical city. Very nice to visit, with many places where we can go. I would like to visit York, I think that is a interesting city.
      If I visites York I want visites th Museum Gardens, the cathedral (the Minster) and the Shembles Sreet, people say that is a great street with a nice architecture and because I like going shopping!

      The typical dishes from York are the majority with pork, one of these dishes are Yorkshire pudding, I don't like so much.

    I think York is a great city to visit with lots of history. The buildings, the streets, the people ... everything is fine.
    I would like to visit York because I love traveling, seeing new places, meeting new traditions...
    I would like to visit the cathedral, the museum gardens, and especially the most famous of all street, shambles, because I really like shopping.
    I would not mind trying the dishes of york, because as I said I like to know the traditions of each place, and most if it comes to food.

    York is a pretty town, I would like to go there and do a touristic route there because it is very interesting. I'd like to visit it because it looks like it is ancient and I love ancient things, specially medieval age.

    I'd choose the Shambles because they are very similar as my expects of medieval things. In the video the people look like very pleasant and that's very satisfactory. I've never try York typical food but I'd like to eat them at least once in my life.

    I think York is an historic and interesting city to visit. It has a lot of places to visit. Definitely I would like to visit York because I love Vikings culture, and in there are a lot!

    If I was there, I would like to visit the Shambles and the Clifford’s Tower, because both are historic places and in the Shambles I can eat a lot of typical food!

    I think York typical dishes looks nice but they use meat for all the food. Well, I think that if I don’t taste it I can’t give an opinion!

    In my opinion, York it's a nice place to visit beacause it has a lot of history and a mix of cultures: viking, roman and anglosaxon. I would like to visit because viking culture, in Spain, it's very famous but there aren´t any evidence of that culture here and because i want to eat yorkshire pudding.

    If i was there, I would visit only the Minster because i love old cathedrals, and the Viking Museum.

    I love York typical dishes only for their appearance and it provokes me curiosity and hungry.

    I think York is an amazing town with los of beautifull gardens and monuments. I would like to visit the town because it has got a different weather, because probably that travel should improve my english pronunciation, and over all for eat their traditionals food.

    If I ever go there, I will visit the cathedral and the minister and maybe then I will go to the shambles to take presents and souvenirs. Then, of course, I will meet with the purple alien.

    I don't like to much typical dishes because it has toó many types of meat and I think that it couldn't be good and taste, but well... I don't know.

    If I went to York I would like to visit The Cathedral, The Museum Gardens, The Cliford’s tower and The Shambles for spend money and make a lot of photos.
    In York the dishes are almost all with pork, I would like taste this dishes because they make a good impression.

    Well... York is a city like all cities, it has some monuments and some nice places to visit, I think that all cities have some beautiful places to visit, York isn't special.
    But it's an old city so it makes it more attractive, almost for me.
    I wouldn't visit York because I would visit other cities earlier like London, I would prefer to be in the capital of some country earlier than visit York. Because I love big cities.

    I would visit the cathedral. I love all the cathedrals, they're beautiful and I love them a lot, also I would visit the Shamblers because it's the most important street in the city so it is a must.

    I think that York is a beautiful city, and it's a good place for visit. I want to visit it, because it's an historic place, full of people with other interesting culture.

    If I go to York some day, I would visit the Cathedral, because I love the ancient architecture, and the Shambles, because it's the most popular street in York, and I think if you go to some place, you should go to the popular sites.

    I don't like the tipical York dishes. I think that the Yorkshire Pudding, for example, looks nice, but I think the taste isn't good.

    I think York is a very beautiful city, which a lot of history and cultures: roman, viking... I like the history. I think is a good city to visit, I want visit.

    If I go to York, I would visit the museums, the Cathedral, The Viking Center, the Shambles... And takes a lot of photos of each monument, and spend much money in Shambles, for give gifts to my family and souvenirs to me.

    I wouldn't like the dishes, because I don't liked the pudding. But It looks good.

    I like York and I would like visit it beacause it can be interesting.

    If I will vistit York I can learn more English and it's will be an unforgetteble opportunity.

    If i was there first I visit Shambles street aftrer Viking center and the rest of monuments because I love doing turism.

    I wouldn't like eat the typical dishes beacause it sound strange, and it is very difficult to like my the new food.

    I think York is a very interesting place, and i would like to visit it. I like it because it´s a place where you can learn a lot about history due to its mix of ancient cultures like romans, anglo-saxons or vikings.

    If I visited York i think i would go to the Wall, to the Viking Centre and to the Shambles.

    I think I would like York typical dishes because they are made of pork

    I think York is a beautiful and historic city situated in the Northest of England. I would like to visit York because I love ancient cities and there is a lot of interesting places to visit.

    If I was there, I would like to visit the Shambles, because everyone in York suggest you to visit it. I would like to visit the cathedral and the museum gardens. I would take lots and lots of photos to show my family.

    I don't want to taste the typical dishes because the recipe doesn't sound very well, but dishes look nice!
